REFUND AND RETURN POLICY

At Stemsellers, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. As an Irish and European Union consumer, your purchases are fully protected by the European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations and the Irish Consumer Rights Act 2022.

- Return Window: We offer a standard 30-day return window (consisting of 14 calendar days to notify us of your intent to return, and an additional 16 days to dispatch the physical return back to us) for all purchases.
- Return Fee: No restocking or handling fees. Customer pays return shipping for change-of-mind; Stemsellers covers return shipping for faulty items.
- Refund Method: 100% monetary refund back to your original payment method. We do not force store credit.
1. STATUTORY 14-DAY RIGHT OF CANCELLATION (COOLING-OFF PERIOD)
If you are a consumer residing in the EU or Ireland, you have the legal right to cancel and return your online order for any reason within 14 calendar days of receiving your goods.
- The Return Window: You must notify us of your intent to return the item within 14 days of physical delivery. Once you have notified us, you have an additional 16 days to dispatch the return shipment back to us (completing our standard 30-day return policy window).
- Sale & Promotional Items: Under EU law, all promotional and sale items purchased online enjoy the exact same statutory 14-day return rights as regular-priced items. We accept returns on sale items. (Please note that gift cards remain non-refundable).
2. PRODUCT CONDITION AND DIMINISHED VALUE
To receive a full refund, items should be returned to us in their original, resellable condition.
- Inspection of Goods: You have the right to open packaging and inspect your items as you would in a physical retail shop.
- Diminished Value: If an item is returned worn, used, damaged, or altered beyond what is necessary to establish its nature and characteristics, we reserve the right to deduct an amount from your refund representing the diminished value of the goods.

- Unsolicited Returns: To ensure your return is tracked and processed safely, please contact us before sending items back so we can provide you with your digital return authorization slip.
4. RETURN SHIPPING COSTS & FEES
- Change of Mind Returns: If you are returning an item due to a change of mind, you are responsible for paying the direct cost of return shipping. If we provide a pre-paid return shipping label to you, the actual cost of this label will be deducted from your final refund.
- Restocking Fees: We do not charge any administration, handling, or restocking fees (0.00 Euros) for processing your return.
- Defective or Damaged Items: If you are returning an item because it is faulty, damaged, or not as described, we will cover 100% of the return shipping costs (see Section 5 below).
5. FAULTY, DAMAGED, OR INCORRECT ITEMS
Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or if you receive the wrong item, contact us right away via live chat or at info@stemsellers.com.
Under Irish and EU consumer protection laws, you are entitled to a free repair, replacement, or full refund for faulty goods. We will provide a pre-paid return shipping label or reimburse your postage costs in these circumstances.
6. EXCEPTIONS & NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
Under Article 16 of the EU Consumer Rights Directive, certain products are exempt from the standard return window and cannot be returned:
- Perishable Goods: Products that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.
- Custom/Personalized Goods: Items made to your unique specifications or clearly personalized.
- Sealed Health/Hygiene Goods: Personal care or cosmetic items that have been unsealed after delivery.
- 7. REFUNDS PROCESS
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will send you an email to confirm receipt and notify you of your refund status.
- Refund Method: All approved refunds are automatically issued back to the original payment method used during checkout. We do not force store credit or alternative payment methods.
- Timeline: In accordance with Irish and EU law, we will issue your refund within 14 days of receiving either the returned goods or formal proof that you have sent them back.
- Bank Processing: Please note that banks and credit card companies may require an additional 3 to 5 business days to post the funds to your account once we authorize the transaction.
